Circuit of Loch Kernsary - full day

A full day circuit around Loch Kernsary starting and finishing at Poolewe

Safari Details

Starting at the village of Poolewe, we will do a complete circuit of Loch Kernsary. We'll start in the temperate rainforest at Poolewe, and cross the moorland to join the Kernsary path, with fabulous views into the mountains of the Great Wilderness. Along the way we might see a number of our iconic species including red deer, white-tailed sea eagle, red squirrel and red-throated divers. We'll also learn about the history of the area. The walk finishes along the banks of the River Ewe where we'll learn about the lifecycle of the Atlantic salmon. This walk is a full day, 7 miles long and will cross some rough paths and tracks, so you'll need to be reasonably fit. You'll need to wear good walking boots and bring a variety of clothing for whatever the Wester Ross weather throws at us. As it's a full day you will also need to bring food and drink for the whole day. Up to two adults £90 per person Each additional adult £60 per person Children under 16 free Well-behaved dogs welcome
