Volunteering opportunity

If you're looking to make a difference for nature, why not join us for a volunteering morning at Bac Dubh on Thursday 3rd April from 9.30am - 12 noon? It's a great way to get outside in nature for some fresh air with like-minded people.

We recently discovered we have another invasive non-native species at Bac Dubh - Early Pampas Grass. We have only found one small specimen so far but we need to remove it before it seeds and starts causing a problem - it's becoming an issue on peatlands elsewhere. So we need to dig that one out and that will be our priority on Thursday. If we have time after that, we'll start tackling one of our other invaders - Rhododendron Ponticum.
